2022 Kangerong Pinot Noir

The origin of the name Kangerong can be traced back to the Bunurong People. The surrounding area, now known as the Kangerong basin, is home to our 27 acre family farm; an area which we feel is ideally suited to the Peninsula’s more recent agricultural pursuit of wine grape growing - in particular the regional heroes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Awards & Accolades: Gold Medal, 96 points, Mornington Peninsula Wine Show 2023

Tasting notes: The nose of the Kangerong Pinot has pretty floral notes and subtle spice. On the palate you'll find black cherries, spice and a velvety texture due to thoughtful oak handling.

Drink with: Roast duck, rare rack of lamb, beef Wellington, grilled pork chops

Cellaring: Enjoy now or over the next 5 years

GOLD MEDAL, 96 Points
Mornington Peninsula Wine Show 2023

Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Deep and bright youthful red-purple with a spicy, dark cherry to blackberry fruit aromas, tending towards fivespice, the palate full and rich with good weight and intensity, the fruit complemented by superfine tannins. A hint of mint. There is richness and succulence: a really lovely pinot noir. Drink: 2024–2035

THE WINE CENTRE

“Beautiful spot for wine tasting - and lovely wines. We had an excellent time with Ben who taught us a lot about their wines and made the experience fun. Great value getting the premium wine tasting selection.”
